Alan Buribayev (born 30 May Alan Buribayev (Kazakh: Алан Бөрібаев, Alan Börıbaev; surname also spelled Buribaev in English) (born 30 May ) is a Kazakh orchestral conductor. The son of a cellist/conductor father and a pianist mother, he studied violin and conducting at the Kazakh National Conservatory in Almaty. He was later a conducting student of Uros Lajovic in Vienna.
Alan Buribayev is a Kazakh Biography Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Principal Conductor of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera”, Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
